About
The Maison des arts Desjardins Drummondville and DRAC – Art actuel Drummondville are joining together to offer a special day of activities during spring break. Come to MADD and enjoy an exclusive multidisciplinary foray into the visual, performing, and circus arts and attend the show Roche, papier, cerceaux!.
The MADD x DRAC Activity Day is for children aged 5 to 12. Registration is required and the fee is $55 (taxes included) per participant⋅e, lunch not included. The activities will be held in French.
Registration can be done online or at the ticket office of the Maison des arts Desjardins Drummondville at 819-477-5412.
Activities of the day
• Drawing workshop using acrylic pencils on jigsaw puzzles, led by DRAC cultural mediators
• Modelling workshop using vegetable-based clay, led by DRAC cultural mediators
• Guided tour of the exhibition Gérard Univers at DRAC
• Playful workshop related to the show Roche, papier, cerceaux!
• Tour of the main stage and backstage at MADD
• Circus show Roche, papier, cerceaux! on the main stage
• Meet the artists of Roche, papier, cerceaux! after the show
Additional information
The activity day begins at 8:30 a.m. and ends at 4:30 p.m. Participants can arrive as of 8:15 a.m. Outside these hours, we will not be offering childcare.
Participants must bring a (cold) lunch and two snacks.
A few days before the activity day, participants will receive a short questionnaire by email that covers basic information to be filled out for each child registered (name and age of participants, emergency contact, allergies or intolerances, special needs, etc.).
