About
Exploratory workshops including contextualization, to discover concepts related to the art professions and their forms of expression, in the company of a cultural mediator from the centre. All DRAC workshops are preceded by a short guided tour of the current exhibition.
Choice of workshops:
• Exhibition Curator
This workshop introduces the role and functions of the curator by creating an exhibition itinerary using a DRAC scale model and miniature reproductions of artworks.
Models and materials are provided for the duration of the activity.
• Performance *New
This workshop introduces participants to performance art, an ephemeral form of artistic expression that uses the body (gestures, words, actions, movements) to convey ideas, arouse emotions, and encourage reflection.
Rate at DRAC
$7.50 (+taxes)
Per participant
25 (+taxes) will be added for an additional mediator, depending on the number of participants and the needs of the group.
Rate outside DRAC
$8.50 (+taxes)
Per participant
50 (+taxes) for the presence of two cultural mediators.
Travel fee of $0.70/km, with a $5 minimum.
DETAILS
If the workshop selected is not part of the offer for the current exhibition, an additional fee of $25 (+taxes) will apply.
Participation in the workshop is free of charge for the chaperones.
